  • Reduce & Prevent Future Physical Problems

Physical Therapy Programs

We aim for optimal function and movement. We are supervised by skilled professionals who are licensed and certified Physical Therapists. Occupational Therapy focuses on regaining specific functions such as eating, dressing or bathing. Occupational therapy may require a patient's environment or task to be altered in order to achieve maximum independence.

Occupational Therapy Programs

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is a skilled professional who specializes in helping individuals achieve independence in their lives despite disabilities. Occupational Therapy can help with customized treatment programs to improve abilities with activities of daily living. Comprehensive evaluation of home and job environments and recommendations on necessary adaptations. Assessment of and treatment for work performance skills including, but not limited to: hand, wrist, and elbow injuries. OT's fabricate customized splints for upper extremity injuries per MD orders.

Recommendations and training in the use of adaptive equipment to replace lost function. Instructions to family members/caregivers in safe and effective methods of caring for people with disabilities.

OT can help individuals with the following disorders, but not limited to: work related injuries, people who have had a stroke or heart attack, cardiopulmonary disorders (COPD), arthritis, musculoskeletal/nerve injuries, spinal cord, burns & head injury, children who have had birth injuries, learning problems, or developmental delays.

Speech (Language) Therapy

The speech language pathologist specializes in the study of human communication, its development, and its disorders. By evaluating the speech, language, and swallowing skills of children and adults, the speech language pathologist determines if communication or oral motor problems exist and decides the best way to treat these problems.

Speech therapy can help individuals with hearing loss or deafness; communication disorders associated with cerebral palsy, other nerve/muscle disorders, head injury, stroke, viral disease, mental retardation, certain drugs, physical impairments such as cleft lip or palate, vocal abuse or misuse; or inadequate speech and language models.
