The remaining proceeds from the TCRH-Duke LifePoint joint venture will help fund the Twin County Community Foundation, formed out of the Twin County Regional Healthcare Foundation, to support community healthcare related initiatives throughout the Twin Counties.

The mission includes supporting healthcare education programs which have the primary purpose of preventing and reducing illness and disease and other programs to promote the health, education and welfare of the community.
